The State Government announced on 22 May 2007
that they have allocated $10-$15m to be spent on a
three-capes walk for hikers.
The Premier when announcing the Tasman Peninsula
spectacle stated "we know this was a very special
piece of Tasmania which great tourism potential".
When you view our website www.lufra.com.au or
request further hardcopy material you will discover
the great tourism potential from current tourist
operators in the Tasman Peninsula whether it be
scuba diving "in some of the best temperate waters
of the world" or it be magnificent water experiences,
experiences,
or whether it be your interest in Australian history and
in particular our convict heritage. It is apparent that
the area offers many experiences and opportunities
for the tourist visitor.
We believe, however, the most exciting aspect of
this new development is the creation of its service
facilities to our guests and the local population of
the Tasman Peninsula. The expansion of the hotel,
not only in accommodation, but also in new and
updated facilities will make the hotel an experience
of a lifetime, whether it is a wedding, conference or
a special day.
